Hi, we are marea and alex hudoba!
We are the owners of Twin Cities Pets, a family owned pet sitting and dog walking company based out of St. Paul, MN since 2012. Our goal is to provide quality and professional pet care while you are away. We believe pets are a critical part of your family and we treat them with the same love and care you would.
We have long felt a calling for helping people and animals. We both worked in the direct care industry providing care for kids and adults with disabilities before turning our skills to caring for pets.
Alex was born and raised in Sabin, MN on a small farm. His mother raised Afghan Hounds for years. Alex loves to tell the story of when he accidentally left the kennel door open as a child and all of the dogs got out. There were Afghan hounds all over the Sabin countryside! He also grew up with other rescue dogs, cats and hamsters.
Marea grew up on a ranch in western South Dakota so she is no stranger to getting up at 3 am to check on a calf being born, getting dirty helping work cows or spending long hours outside. There are many working animals at the ranch, and many pets as well including dogs, cats, and rabbits.
When Alex and Marea are not managing Twin Cities Pets they both enjoy hiking, camping, other outdoor adventures and spending time with their two young kids and two furry felines. We all currently reside in Woodbury, MN.
